Terms & Conditions of Prolux Partner Awards

Effective Date: 26 March 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the Prolux Partner Awards ("Competition"). By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

1.1 The Competition is open only to current registered Prolux Partners in good standing.

1.2 Entrants must be based in New Zealand or regions where Prolux operates.

1.3 Employees of Prolux and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

2. Entry Period

2.1 The Competition commences on 23 MARCH 2026 and closes on 31 AUGUST 2026 at 11:59 PM NZST ("Entry Period").

2.2 Entries submitted outside the Entry Period will not be accepted.

2.3 Prolux reserves the right to extend or modify the Entry Period at its sole discretion.

3. How to Enter

3.1 Entries must be submitted through the official Competition submission form on the Prolux website.

3.2 Each entry must include:

• Entrant name and business details
• Project description
• Prolux products used in the project
• High-resolution photographs of the completed project
• Category selection (Indoor, Outdoor, or Commercial)

3.3 Partners may submit unlimited entries, provided each entry represents a unique project.

3.4 One submission per project only. Multiple submissions of the same project will result in disqualification of duplicate entries.

3.5 Projects may be past or current installations, provided they feature Prolux products.

3.6 Incomplete or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

4. Prizes and Rewards

4.1 Category Awards

4.1.1 Winners will be selected in the following categories:

• Best Indoor Lighting Application
• Best Outdoor Lighting Application
• Best Commercial Project

4.1.2 Category winners will receive digital award badges for promotional use and recognition across Prolux marketing channels.

4.2 Grand Prize

4.2.1 One Grand Prize winner will be selected for Best Overall Submission.

4.2.1 The Grand Prize consists of: One meat pack supplied by Harmony, delivered quarterly (four total) up to the value of $2000 TOTAL.

4.2.3 All entries submitted during the Entry Period are eligible for the Grand Prize.

4.2.4 The Grand Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Judging

5.1 Entries will be judged by a panel appointed by Prolux.

5.2 Judging criteria include:

• Quality: Image resolution, composition, and professional presentation
• Creativity: Innovative applications and unique design approaches
• Product Showcase: Effective demonstration of Prolux products in real-world settings

5.3 The judges' decisions are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

5.4 Winners will be announced in September 2026 via email, social media, and the Prolux website.

6. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

6.1 By submitting an entry, you warrant that:

• You own all rights to the submitted photographs and project materials, or have obtained all necessary permissions from the copyright holder(s).
• You confirm you have obtained all necessary permissions from property owners, clients, or relevant stakeholders for photography and promotional use.
• Your entry does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.
• You have obtained consent from any individuals identifiable in the photographs.

6.2 Grant of License: By submitting an entry, you grant Prolux a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display your submitted photographs and project details for marketing, promotional, and commercial purposes across all media channels, including but not limited to:

• Website and online platforms
• Social media accounts
• Print materials (brochures, catalogues, advertisements)
• Trade shows and exhibitions
• Email marketing campaigns

6.3 Prolux will credit the entrant's business name where practicable when using submitted materials.

6.4 You retain ownership of your original photographs and project materials.

7. Winner Notification

7.1 Category and Grand Prize winners will be notified via email and phone within 14 days of the judging completion.

7.2 Winners must respond within 7 days to claim their prize. Failure to respond may result in disqualification.

8. General Conditions

8.1 Prolux reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who:

• Submits fraudulent, misleading, or duplicate entries
• Tampers with the entry process
• Breaches these Terms
• Acts in a manner that is inappropriate or not in the spirit of the Competition

8.2 Prolux reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Competition if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it impracticable or unfair to proceed.

8.3 Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

8.4 Monthly spotlights and special mentions during the Entry Period are at Prolux's sole discretion and do not guarantee category or grand prize wins.

9. Liability

9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prolux and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by entrants in connection with the Competition or acceptance of any prize.

9.2 Prolux is not responsible for:

• Lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries
• Technical failures, including internet or website access issues
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of entries

9.3 Entrants indemnify Prolux against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their breach of these Terms.

10. Privacy

10.1 Personal information collected during the Competition will be used solely for administering the Competition, awarding prizes, and promotional purposes.

10.2 By entering, you consent to Prolux collecting, using, and disclosing your personal information in accordance with Prolux's Privacy Policy.

10.3 Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting Prolux.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

11.2 Any disputes arising from the Competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
